FX40 Industrial Blade and Knife Grinder

The FX40 model is available with different sharpening lengths from 1500 mm. to 7100 mm., and more for special requests.

This machine is characterized by its high power of the grinding wheel motor, and allows blade manufacturers to produce blades and knives in large quantities and grind large parts.

This model is available with a rotating magnetic tray or with a fixed magnetic tray.

Main features:

· Electro-permanent rotating magnetic plate (width 200 mm.);

· Angular divider for rotation of the magnetic plate +/- 90°; 30 kW (40CV) grinding wheel motor

; Crown segment holder diam. 350 mm;

· Variable carriage speed from 1 to 25 m/min;

· Automatic lubrication of carriage sliding pads;

· Automatic grinding wheel descent with programming of total and partial pass taking controlled by a digital programmer (PLC);

· Programmable work cycles: roughing, finishing and glazing;

· Controls for rapid lowering and raising of the wheel and slow lowering;

· Grinding wheel axis adjustable from 0° to 3° in the longitudinal direction to the magnetic plate;

· External tank for coolant, equipped with an electric pump with a flow rate of 200 l/min.
