Sharpening machine with PLC control for circular knives and counter knives

The CK 500 sharpening machine is very versatile, with very short set-up times, for sharpening knives made of carbon steel, stainless steel, HSS and solid carbide.

Machining with coolant and lubrication in the form of emulsion or neat oil.
Programming the machine is extremely simple, using a touch screen PC panel and a menu-driven operator interface to enter machining parameters and operate the machine.

The CK 500 sharpener is able to sharpen batches of knives with one-sided bevel to the same diameter, counter knives to the same thickness, knives with two-sided bevel and with the cutting edge centered on the knife body, even to the same diameter if necessary.

The control system indicates on the display the current absorbed by the grinding wheel spindle motors, the time remaining at the end of the automatic cycle and the machining time. The CK 500 sharpening machine can be equipped with a remote assistance program if necessary.
